Overview

Crafting a calm and sophisticated skincare identity.

Élane was designed as a luxury skincare brand focused on simplicity, elegance, and self-care. The goal was to create a visual identity that communicates purity, sophistication, trust, and timeless beauty while standing out in the competitive premium skincare market.

The identity needed to feel minimal yet memorable, appealing to modern consumers who value high-quality skincare and refined aesthetics.

The final identity communicates luxury through restraint. Balanced proportions, generous whitespace, and a considered wordmark carry the brand across every context, from a serum label to a shopfront window, without ever raising its voice.

Reflection

What I Learned

  • Beauty branding is emotional first. The identity has to make someone feel calm before they read a single word.
  • Restraint is the loudest signal of luxury. Every element removed made the system stronger, not smaller.
  • Consistency across packaging and marketing is what makes a brand feel real, one voice, one rhythm, one pace.
  • Elegance and commercial usability are the same conversation. If it can't sit on a shelf, it can't lead a category.
  • A timeless identity is a decade-long decision. Trends are shortcuts a luxury brand doesn't need.
